In this installment of the Bass Drum Grid Series we will be looking into 3 note groupings. The same principle applies from the previous Bass Drum Grid Lessons. Play the 8th note ostinato between the hi hat and snare while displacing the bass drum underneath the pattern.

Red = Snare Drum

Practice each pattern at a slow tempo until you feel comfortable moving on to the next. Once you have learned each example try playing each one 2 times and then move to the next example without stopping. Have fun!
