Accents And Pressure #3 (Stutter Diddles/Flam Tap Variations)

There is a flow to this exercise. When playing the Stutter diddles play the check pattern first, which would be to take the diddle off and just play the pattern (paradiddle). Proceed to the 2nd measure and play the check pattern (without flams) and focus on using your fingers to play the three’s and two’s using the rebound from the pad to get your speed. Add the partials on to the notes (diddles and flams) and slowly start at 65 BPM working your way up. Focus on stick height and use the rebound to your advantage.
