Had the chance to catch up with Rich Redmond over Thanksgiving break and pick his brain about drumming, upcoming projects, events, and life in general.

I met Rich back in 2009 when I was attending UNCP (University of North Carolina at Pembroke). He was invited to put on a clinic for our percussion department. His passion and enthusiasm for drumming inspired me that day to put everything I had into chasing my dreams as a working drummer.

Here it is five years later and he’s still working hard as ever! Clinics, sessions, shows with Aldean, a published book (FUNdamentals), and numerous projects underway. Rich still has that flame and I’m almost certain it’s far from burning out anytime soon!
